Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting a hair transplant and I've been hearing a lot about Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid. I’m currently a NW3 and considering around 3000 grafts with FUE. I’ve seen some of his results online and they look pretty great, but I would love to hear from anyone who has actually had the procedure done with him.

What was your experience like? How was the clinic’s atmosphere? Also, if you could share how your recovery went and what medications you used post-op, that would really help me decide if I should go ahead with him or look elsewhere. Thanks!

I've had a transplant with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid, and honestly, I can't recommend him enough! I had around 2500 grafts done about six months ago, and the results are looking fantastic. The clinic itself had a really welcoming vibe, and the staff was super friendly. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process.

As for recovery, I was back to normal within a week, but I did experience some swelling for a few days. I used minoxidil and finasteride post-op, which I think helped speed up the healing and growth. I've seen some good progress so far, and I’m excited to see how it continues over the next few months. If you're leaning towards Dr. Lorenzo, I say go for it!

Sounds like you're doing your research, which is awesome! I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo too, around 3500 grafts about four months ago. I felt the consultation was very thorough; he took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions, which is something I really appreciated. The atmosphere at the clinic was professional yet relaxed, definitely helped ease my nerves.

As for recovery, I did have some swelling for a few days but nothing too crazy. I used minoxidil and finasteride post-op, and I think that really helped with the regrowth. I'm seeing good progress already; I can’t wait to see the final results in a few more months! Just so you know, it’s also good to stay hydrated and avoid alcohol for a bit to help with healing. Have you thought about any medications you're planning to use after the surgery?

That’s cool to hear about your experiences! I wanted to add that I spoke with a few other patients while I was at the clinic, and they all had positive things to say too. Dr. Lorenzo seems to have a solid reputation, and it looks like he really knows his stuff when it comes to hairlines. I ended up deciding on Dr. Feriduni in Belgium instead mainly due to location convenience, but I'd still love to hear how your results progress.

Also, did either of you consider taking finasteride or minoxidil post-op? I know some people swear by them for better growth, but it can be a bit overwhelming figuring out the right mix of meds. Just curious if you guys had any recommendations based on your experiences!

I didn’t go with Dr. Lorenzo, but I did a lot of comparisons before settling on Dr. Bisanga in Brussels, which is a bit closer for me. I’ve heard great things about Dr. Lorenzo's skill in creating natural-looking hairlines, though. One thing to consider is the long-term follow-up; I’ve read that some clinics really excel in post-op care while others not so much. After my procedure, Dr. Bisanga’s team kept in touch regularly and even offered PRP sessions as part of the package which I found super helpful. Have you thought about what kind of aftercare you want post-op? It can really affect the overall results!

Hi there,

I went with Dr. Lorenzo about six months ago for 2800 grafts, and I'm pretty happy with my results so far. The clinic itself had a really welcoming vibe - the staff were super friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. One thing I noticed is that they focus a lot on the orientation of the grafts, which I think really makes a difference in how natural everything looks post-op.

Recovery wasn’t too bad, though I did have some itching around the donor area for a few weeks. I was on finasteride and minoxidil after the procedure, and I think that helped with keeping my hair healthy during the healing phase. Has anyone else here tried any supplements post-op? I’m curious if anything else might boost growth.

Overall, I’d recommend Dr. Lorenzo if you’re leaning towards him. Just make sure to follow their post-op care instructions closely!

It’s great to hear everyone’s experiences! I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo about seven months ago and I can share that the recovery process was smoother than I expected. I took finasteride and used minoxidil post-op, which I think helped with the growth. My hair started to come in nicely around the four-month mark, and now I’m really starting to see the full results. One thing I appreciated at the clinic was their thoroughness in explaining aftercare; they gave me a detailed guide and even offered a follow-up consultation via video call, which I found super helpful. Just a tip, if you're considering getting PRP therapy, I opted for that too about three months after the procedure, and I've heard it can really boost your results. Have you thought about any additional treatments like that? It might be worth looking into!

Just throwing my two cents in here - I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo around a year ago, and I couldn't be happier with the results. For me, the biggest surprise was how thorough the consultation was. He really took the time to understand my hair loss pattern and what I wanted, which gave me a lot of confidence in his skills.

After the procedure, I used PRP therapy along with finasteride to help speed up recovery and boost growth, and I think it made a huge difference. By the six-month mark, I was noticing significant changes, and now at a year, the thickness is amazing. One tip - be sure to follow their post-op instructions closely, especially about avoiding physical strain for the first few weeks. It can be tempting to get back to your routine, but resting truly pays off! Hope this helps anyone on the fence about going with Dr. Lorenzo.

Looks like a lot of folks had a good experience with Dr. Lorenzo! I had my 3500 graft FUE with him about five months ago. The clinic was pretty high-tech, which eased my nerves a bit. They really take their time with the extraction and implantation, which I found reassuring. I opted for PRP alongside finasteride after the procedure. The growth has been gradual but definitely noticeable. It seems like the first few months are just a waiting game, but I'm starting to see some solid coverage in the crown area now.

One thing though - make sure to ask about the post-op care plan. They gave me a detailed sheet, but I was a bit overwhelmed with all the info. How experienced are you with medications? If you're new to things like finasteride or minoxidil, I'd recommend doing some research ahead of time!

The positive experiences everyone's shared are really encouraging! I wanted to mention that I had my FUE procedure with Dr. Lorenzo about two years ago, and while I was happy with my results, I had a few bumps during recovery. The first week was a bit tough for me; I experienced some swelling and discomfort, which I wasn't fully prepared for. However, I kept in touch with the clinic, and they were super responsive to my concerns. I used minoxidil and also added biotin to my regimen for support.

One thing I found interesting was the difference in growth patterns. While my full results took almost a year to show, I noticed that my crown responded better than the hairline. So if you're mainly concerned about the hairline, just keep in mind that growth can vary by area. If anyone else has noticed similar patterns, I'd love to hear about it!

Totally understand your curiosity about Dr. Lorenzo! I had my FUE with him about six months ago, and I think it’s important to mention the follow-up care. They really emphasize aftercare, which helped me a lot during recovery. I was instructed to avoid intense physical activity for about two weeks, and I took it easy, which I believe contributed to smoother healing.

Also, while finasteride is great, I added minoxidil to my routine around three months post-op. I've noticed increased thickness in my existing hair, which is a nice bonus. Just be sure to have realistic expectations with how long it takes to see the full results - it can be a bit of a wait! Did you decide on your meds yet or are you still weighing options?

I've been following this thread and it's great to see so many positive stories! I’m also considering Dr. Lorenzo for my NW4 pattern and was wondering about the cost for about 3000 grafts. I saw some estimates online, but it’d be cool to know what you guys actually paid. Another thing to think about is the hairline design; did any of you discuss it with him before the procedure? I’ve heard he’s pretty good at creating natural-looking hairlines, which is a huge factor for me.

As for recovery, I’ve read mixed reviews about swelling and discomfort, so any tips on managing that would be awesome. I’m thinking about stacking finasteride and minoxidil for after the transplant too. Any thoughts on that combo?

I wanted to throw in my two cents about Dr. Lorenzo! I went for my procedure about a year ago with 3500 grafts, and I paid around 6500 euros. The clinic itself was super clean and professional, which put me at ease. One thing I hadn’t heard anyone mention yet is how thorough his team was in the pre-op consultation. We really went over my hairline design in detail, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my expectations.

Recovery-wise, I felt like I was healing pretty smoothly, but I noticed my hair started shedding a lot more around the 3-month mark, and I was a bit worried. A friend of mine who had his with Dr. Lorenzo said that’s pretty normal, so I tried not to stress. I was on finasteride and using minoxidil, which I think helped keep my scalp healthy. Would be curious to know if anyone else experienced similar shedding!

It's great to see everyone's experiences with Dr. Lorenzo! I had my FUE with him about four months ago, and I went for 3200 grafts. The pricing was around 7000 euros, which I think was pretty reasonable considering the results and service. One thing that stood out to me was the consultation process. They really take their time to explain everything, and I appreciated how they addressed my concerns about recovery and the potential need for medications like minoxidil post-op.

As for recovery, I experienced some swelling in the first week but it went down pretty quickly. I did stick to the no heavy lifting rule and it definitely paid off. I also started using PRP sessions after the transplant, and I feel like my growth has been fantastic so far! Has anyone else tried PRP after their transplant? I'm curious if it really boosts the results or if it's just a nice extra.

Just wanted to chime in with my experience! I had my FUE done by Dr. Lorenzo a year and a half ago and it was for 2800 grafts. I ended up paying around 6000 euros. Recovery was pretty smooth for me; I took minoxidil and finasteride post-op to help with growth, and I found that really helped. It was also nice that I could reach out to their team after the surgery if I had any questions or concerns, which made a big difference in my peace of mind.

As for the clinic atmosphere, I thought it was welcoming, and the staff made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I did have a chance to discuss hairline design and I felt like Dr. Lorenzo really listened to what I wanted while guiding me towards a natural result.

One thing I’d recommend is to stay on top of your aftercare - it can be easy to overlook things, but following the guidelines really helps with the final outcome! Did you have any specific concerns about recovery or aftercare that you wanted to know about?

Opublikowano

I appreciate everyone sharing their experiences! I actually went to Dr. Lorenzo about 8 months ago for my FUE procedure, and I had around 3300 grafts done. The pricing was similar to what others mentioned, around 6500 euros. One thing I haven't seen anyone mention yet is the follow-up care. I was pleasantly surprised by how often they checked in with me after the procedure. They really encouraged me to contact them anytime I had concerns, which made the whole process less stressful.

I did use PRP therapy along with minoxidil post-op, and I feel it made a significant difference in my recovery and hair growth. The results are starting to come in nicely, and I can see a noticeable improvement in my hair density.

I'm curious, did anyone else try PRP therapy, and if so, how did it work for you?

So, I just wanted to add my two cents! I had FUE with Dr. Lorenzo about a year ago for 3000 grafts, and I spent around 6800 euros. The clinic had a really welcoming vibe; I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. One thing I haven’t seen anyone talk about is the actual day of the procedure. It was long but not uncomfortable at all, and they play music which helped keep things relaxed. Post-op, I was on minoxidil and also did a couple of PRP sessions afterward to boost recovery. I felt that made a significant difference in my growth! Have you thought about looking into PRP along with your transplant? It might be worth it to discuss with Dr. Lorenzo during your consultation.

Just wanted to throw in another perspective here! I went to Dr. Lorenzo for my FUE about 6 months ago and it was for 2500 grafts. The cost was around 5500 euros, which I thought was pretty reasonable given the high quality of service. What really stood out to me was how meticulously they planned the hairline design; I felt really involved in the process, and they listened to my preferences closely.

As for recovery, I used PRP therapy along with minoxidil, which I think helped speed things up a bit. I noticed noticeable hair growth in about 3 months, and the density is looking pretty good now! If you have any specific questions about the procedure day or the aftercare, feel free to ask!

I've also had a great experience with Dr. Lorenzo, but I wanted to share something different! I went for my FUE procedure about 4 months ago and had 2000 grafts for around 5000 euros. One thing I really appreciated was how upfront they were about potential results and setting realistic expectations. It helped me stay grounded throughout the process.

During the consultation, they used 3D imaging to show me the expected results, which was super cool and helped visualize things. I opted for minoxidil afterward to support growth, and I'm already noticing some promising signs! For anyone considering him, I’d recommend asking about that imaging tool; it made a big difference for me!

Totally agree with the vibe at the clinic! I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo last month, getting 3200 grafts for around 7000 euros. I was really impressed by the level of detail they put into the consultation. They actually had a pre-op assessment where they checked my donor area thoroughly and talked about my scalp health, which made me feel like I was in good hands. One thing I found super helpful was their post-op care instructions. They gave me a detailed plan on how to wash my hair and what to avoid in the first few weeks. I've been using minoxidil in conjunction with the procedure, and I'm already seeing some early signs of growth! Has anyone else tried combining medications like that? I’d love to hear how it worked for you.

I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo about 5 months ago, and it was for 2800 grafts at a cost of around 6000 euros. I really liked the clinic's location in Madrid; it’s pretty accessible and the ambiance felt professional yet warm. They were great at explaining everything step-by-step, and the staff was super friendly, which helped calm my nerves. As for recovery, I started using minoxidil about a month prior to the procedure, and I continued it post-op too. I noticed quite a bit of growth starting after the 3-month mark, and my hairline is looking natural so far! Just a heads-up though, the first few weeks post-op can be a bit uncomfortable with itching and some crusting, but it’s manageable. Have you thought about which medications you'll use after your procedure? I’ve read that many people find finasteride helps as well, but it’s good to weigh the pros and cons. Let me know if you have questions!

I haven't personally gone to Dr. Lorenzo, but a friend of mine did and his results are impressive! He had 3500 grafts done about 6 months ago and said he paid around 7500 euros. What stood out to him was the post-op care; they scheduled multiple follow-up appointments to monitor his progress, which I thought was a nice touch. He also mentioned that they recommended using finasteride along with minoxidil, which really seemed to boost his growth.

If you're considering medications, it might be worth asking about their protocol during your consultation. Also, has anyone noticed how long the clinic usually takes to get results to start showing? I know it can vary but any insight would help!

So, I can’t comment on Dr. Lorenzo firsthand, but I’ve read quite a few reviews about his work. Many people rave about the natural-looking hairlines he creates, which is definitely a plus if you're NW3. One thing I found interesting is that some patients mentioned he’s quite meticulous about the hair angle and density, which I guess can really make a difference in the results.

As for recovery, I've seen a few guys say they experienced minimal swelling compared to other clinics. It seems like a lot of his patients also recommend starting PRP treatment in conjunction with the procedure for better healing and growth results. Has anyone here tried that with Dr. Lorenzo? If you're leaning towards him, the combination of high-quality grafts and good aftercare might be worth it!

Opublikowano
I can't speak directly about Dr. Lorenzo myself, but I've heard from several sources that the clinic also focuses a lot on individual consultations before the procedure. They really take the time to assess your hair loss pattern and create a personalized plan, which I think is super important. I did visit the clinic during my research, and I was impressed by how modern and clean the facilities were. I’ve also seen some before-and-after photos online, and honestly, the transformations look fantastic! If you're considering 3000 grafts, I’ve heard that patients are usually advised to stick to a routine of PRP treatments post-op to boost healing and hair growth. If you do go for it, keep us updated on your journey! Anyone else have thoughts on PRP with Dr. Lorenzo?
