Review: My 2500 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 4 month update

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience after undergoing a 2500 graft FUE procedure with Dr. Feriduni in Hasselt, Belgium about 4 months ago. I was a NW4 and had been battling thinning hair for years. After doing a lot of research, I decided to go with Dr. Feriduni because of his excellent reputation and numerous positive reviews. The whole process was smoother than I expected. The clinic was professional, and Dr. Feriduni and his team were super friendly. They took their time to explain everything, from the procedure itself to the aftercare. I really appreciated the fact that they used PRP therapy right after the transplant, which I’ve heard can help with healing and growth. Honestly, the first couple of weeks were tough with swelling and discomfort, but I stayed on finasteride and minoxidil to support my recovery. Now, I can see the hair really starting to fill in. I’m excited to see how it continues to progress. I’ll keep you all updated with my results in a few more months. Let me know if you have any questions about my experience!

Sounds like a solid experience! I’m also considering a procedure and have come across Dr. Feriduni a lot in my research. Could you share a bit more about the aftercare instructions they gave you? I’ve read that it can vary a lot between clinics, and I’m curious how strict they were about avoiding certain activities post-op. Also, did you notice any shedding in the first few weeks? I’ve heard that’s pretty common but still a bit nerve-racking! Thanks!

Awesome to hear about your progress! I didn't go with Dr. Feriduni, but I had an FUE with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid last year and had a similar experience regarding aftercare. They were pretty strict with avoiding sunlight and exercising for at least a couple of weeks. Regarding shedding, I had a bit of shock loss around the two to three-week mark, which I was told was normal. It was kind of nerve-wracking but then I started to see some new growth after a few months.

Since you're on finasteride and minoxidil, have you noticed any side effects from them? I definitely had some initial issues with dryness, but adjusting the application helped. I'm curious if your routine has been smooth, especially as you see the gradual results. Also, do you plan to do any follow-up treatments like more PRP in the future?

Glad to hear things are going well for you! I’ve been looking into Dr. Feriduni myself and noticed he gets a lot of praise. One thing I was curious about is the scarring from the donor area after the FUE. Did you notice any visible scars or have any concerns about that? I’ve seen some guys post-op who still have noticeable scarring, and I’m hoping for a cleaner look. Also, did the clinic provide any specific products or recommendations for your hair care post-transplant? I’m a bit worried about maintaining the health of my hair during the recovery phase. Looking forward to your updates!

Good to hear your experience has been positive! I had my FUE with Dr. Bisanga in Brussels, and although my graft count was a bit higher at 3000, I can relate to the excitement of seeing new growth. One thing I found really useful was keeping a detailed log of everything-like when I applied minoxidil or took my finasteride. It helped me track what was working and what wasn’t. I also recommend looking into scalp massages to stimulate blood flow; it’s said to help with growth too. Plus, have you thought about how you'll maintain your results long-term? I’m trying to figure out if I should keep using PRP treatments down the line. It’d be great to hear more about your plans!

Thanks for sharing your journey! It sounds like you’re on the right track. I had a similar experience with Dr. Hasson in Vancouver, and I found the support from the clinic invaluable. One thing that helped me a lot during my recovery was using a special pillow to avoid pressure on my head while sleeping - it made a huge difference. Have you had any follow-up visits or consultations with Dr. Feriduni since your procedure? I found it reassuring to get his feedback on my progress, and he provided some useful tips for managing hair products post-op. Also, how have you felt about your hairline design? It’s such a big deal and can really affect your overall confidence!

It's cool to hear about your progress! I've been considering Dr. Feriduni too, especially after seeing some great results from his patients. I was also curious about the aftercare protocols at his clinic. Were there any specific do's and don'ts they recommended to help with the healing process? I've read varying advice online, and it can be a bit confusing. Also, if you don't mind sharing, do you have any tips on managing the minoxidil application? I keep hearing about the importance of consistency, and I just want to make sure I’m doing it right. Looking forward to your updates!

It’s great to see so many positive experiences with Dr. Feriduni! I had my FUE done with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid about six months ago, and I totally understand the journey. It's pretty wild how the first few months can feel like forever, but the excitement when you start seeing results is unbeatable. I wanted to mention that, in case you haven't tried it yet, I started using a light vitamin E oil on my scalp a month post-op. It really seemed to soothe the area and maybe even helped with hair health. I've read that some people swear by it, but it's always good to check with your doctor first. By the way, how does the density look so far? Have you noticed any areas that seem to be filling in faster than others? Can't wait to see your updates!

Super interesting to hear everyone’s experiences! I’ve been looking into FUE procedures, and Dr. Feriduni has definitely caught my attention after seeing so many good reviews. One thing I’m curious about is the pain management aspect. You mentioned swelling and discomfort-but did you find any specific medications or treatments that really helped ease the recovery? Also, I’ve read about people getting PRP beforehand as a pre-treatment to boost health, did they mention anything about that at your consultation?

As for aftercare, I've seen some clinics recommend completely avoiding any strenuous activities for a while. How strict were they with you on that? Just trying to get a full understanding before I take the leap myself!

I totally relate to the excitement of seeing those early results! I've been doing some research about post-op care, and one thing I've seen mentioned a lot is the importance of maintaining a good diet during recovery. Have you been focusing on any specific foods or supplements besides the finasteride and minoxidil? I’ve heard that things like biotin, zinc, and even omega-3s can promote hair health. I'm thinking of incorporating them into my routine ahead of my own procedure soon-going for 3000 grafts at the Istanbul Budget Hair Clinic. Just want to make sure I'm doing all I can to support hair growth!

Thanks for sharing your journey! It's always encouraging to hear about positive outcomes. I had a similar experience with a 3500 graft FUE at HairTech Turkey a few months ago, and while I had a decent recovery, my main struggle was dealing with itchiness in the donor area after about a month. I found that using an anti-itch cream recommended by the clinic really helped.

Also, have you thought about future treatments? I read that PRP can be beneficial in the long term too. After my procedure, I started doing PRP sessions a couple of months in and I think it’s really helped bolster my results. I wonder if Dr. Feriduni offers that as part of his follow-up care?

Can’t wait to see your updates as your hair continues to fill in!

It’s awesome to hear about your positive experience with Dr. Feriduni! I had a similar procedure but with a different surgeon, Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid, about 6 months ago. I went for 3000 grafts and honestly, the results are already really encouraging. One thing that helped me a lot was keeping my scalp moisturized; I used a gentle moisturizer that my clinic recommended, which seemed to reduce dryness and help with overall healing. Also, I started taking biotin and zinc after the procedure, and I feel like it definitely boosted my hair growth. I’m curious, did Dr. Feriduni provide you with any specific aftercare products? I’ve heard that some clinics give their patients special shampoos or lotions to use post-op. Would love to hear any tips you have!

That sounds like a solid experience! I'm really curious about how the PRP therapy has been working for you. I’ve read mixed reviews about its effectiveness post-FUE; some people swear by it, while others say they didn’t notice a significant difference. Did you see any immediate benefits from it, or has it been more of a gradual improvement?

Also, since you mentioned the swelling and discomfort in the first couple of weeks, did you find any specific remedies that helped? I know some folks find that ice packs or certain pain relievers made a big difference for them. Just thinking ahead for my own upcoming procedure!

Glad to hear your experience has been good so far! I’m really interested in your use of minoxidil and finasteride - I'm on the fence about starting them myself. It sounds like they have helped with your recovery a lot. How long did you wait after the FUE before starting minoxidil? I've also seen some guys recommend waiting a bit longer to avoid irritation, but I'm eager to get started if it can speed up hair growth. Additionally, what do you think about the cost of your procedure? I've been looking into other clinics and found that prices vary quite a bit. Just curious if you felt your procedure was worth the investment!

That's great to hear about your experience! I had my FUE done at the Istanbul Budget Hair Clinic a little over 5 months ago with 2000 grafts, and I remember the excitement as I started noticing the regrowth.

One thing I found super helpful post-op was following a strict aftercare regimen, especially when it came to avoiding sun exposure and wearing a hat in the early weeks. I think it really made a difference in how well my grafts took. Also, I’ve been incorporating biotin into my routine and I've heard it can support overall hair health.

Have you thought about how you’ll maintain your hair in the long run? I’m planning to stick with finasteride for a while since I want to keep my hair as full as possible. Just curious if you have any future plans for maintenance or if you’re going to take it as it comes!

Awesome to hear your recovery is going well! I had a similar experience with the Istanbul Budget Hair Clinic but did my procedure a while back with about 3000 grafts. The growth took a bit longer to show, and I honestly found that patience was key during those initial months.

One thing I think is worth mentioning is how important the nutritional aspect can be. After my procedure, I started focusing heavily on my diet, including foods rich in vitamins and minerals, especially biotin and zinc, to support hair growth. I also made sure to keep my scalp clean and moisturized to help with any dryness. Have you noticed any changes in your scalp's condition since the FUE? Good luck with the rest of your journey!

It's encouraging to see your positive experience with Dr. Feriduni! I had a similar procedure over at Dr. Lorenzo's clinic in Madrid, where they performed 3500 grafts using the DHI method. I felt like the DHI technique really helped with the precision in placement and the density of the hairline.

One thing I noticed during my recovery was how crucial hydration was for me. I made it a point to drink plenty of water and even incorporated some collagen supplements into my routine, which I think helped with the healing process. Have you considered any additional supplements or dietary changes to support your hair growth? Also, I'll be curious to see the final results of your transplanted hair in the coming months-definitely keep us posted!

Congrats on your progress! I'm really interested in hearing about your experience with PRP. I had my FUE with Dr. Konior in Chicago, and while I didn't use PRP, I’ve heard mixed opinions about its effectiveness for growth. Did you notice any immediate benefits from it? Also, I found that using a silk pillowcase helped reduce friction on my scalp during sleep, which I felt was beneficial in the healing process. How did you handle your post-op care in that regard? I’m looking to get a second procedure soon, and I'd love to know if you incorporated any specific products that you found useful.

It's really cool to see everyone's experiences! I’m curious about your aftercare regime. After my 2000 grafts with Dr. Rahal in Ottawa, I found that sticking to a strict routine with minoxidil made a huge difference in the first few months. I also hit the gym pretty regularly, and I noticed that sweating helped keep the scalp healthy, but I made sure to wash my hair thoroughly afterward to avoid any irritation. Have you done anything specific post-op to keep your scalp in good shape? I've heard different opinions about how much physical activity is okay after a transplant.

That's awesome to hear about your journey with Dr. Feriduni! I've been considering a procedure myself and was looking into various clinics. While I haven't been to Belgium yet, I'm curious-how did you feel about the cost and overall value of the procedure? I've heard that prices can vary significantly, especially with different graft counts and techniques. I was thinking of going with about 3000 grafts in Turkey, maybe at a clinic like ASMED, but I'm a bit nervous about the experience compared to what you've shared. Also, did you have any challenges with the healing process besides the initial swelling? It seems like there are so many things to keep in mind for a smooth recovery!

Nice to hear about your positive experience! I just wanted to mention that I had a consultation with Dr. Feriduni a while back, and I was really impressed by how thorough he was. He took the time to go over my hair loss history and suggested a tailored approach based on my specific needs. It seems like he focuses on creating a natural look, which is super important for long-term satisfaction.

One thing I was curious about is how your donor area is healing. I’ve heard that having a good healing process in that area can make a big difference in the overall outcome of the transplant. Were there any products or tips you found helpful during your recovery? I’m looking for ways to keep the area healthy if I end up going with him!

Glad to hear you're seeing progress, especially after those tough first few weeks! It's interesting you mentioned PRP therapy; I've been reading a lot about it lately. I had my 3500 graft FUE with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid last year, and they offered PRP as well, but I decided to skip it based on some mixed reviews I found. In hindsight, maybe I should have given it a shot. Have you noticed any specific areas of your scalp where the growth is more pronounced, or has it been pretty even overall? Also, I’m curious about how your hairline looks. Did Dr. Feriduni create a natural-looking frame for your face? That's been a key factor for me when considering my future options.

It's great that you're seeing positive results after your FUE with Dr. Feriduni! I've heard good things about the PRP treatment, too. Just out of curiosity, did they provide any specific post-operative care instructions that you found particularly helpful? I’ve been looking into clinics lately and trying to figure out what kind of aftercare to expect. I was considering a procedure with Dr. Hasson in Canada next year and want to be best prepared. Also, how are you handling the minoxidil? I’ve read mixed experiences with it, some find it great, others struggle with side effects. Would love to hear more about your journey!

Glad to hear things are looking up for you! I’ve been doing some research on different clinics myself and came across a lot of discussions about the importance of the donor area healing time. With Dr. Feriduni, how did you find the recovery for that area? I’ve read that some patients experienced more itching or discomfort after their procedures, while others had it pretty smooth. Also, did they recommend any specific products for post-care? I heard that some clinics are really strict about what you can use to avoid messing with the grafts.

By the way, I’m considering a procedure at the Istanbul Budget Hair Clinic because they seem to have good reviews and the prices are quite reasonable too. Any thoughts on what factors I should prioritize while choosing a clinic? Your updates will help me a lot as I weigh my options!

That's awesome to hear you're seeing results! Recovery can be such a mixed bag, right? I actually had my 2000 graft FUE with Dr. Konior in Chicago about 5 months ago, and the donor area was pretty smooth for me too, just some light itching that was manageable. I also noticed that hydration and keeping my scalp protected from the sun really helped with the healing process.

You mentioned using finasteride and minoxidil, which I’ve been on as well. I’m curious if you've experienced any side effects from those? I had a few issues with the minoxidil making my scalp a bit irritated at first, but it seems to have calmed down over time. I'd love to hear if you've had any similar experiences!

By the way, have you considered any additional treatments like PRP down the line? I’ve been thinking about it for my next appointment, especially with the progress I've seen so far.
