My experience with 4000 grafts at Istanbul Graft Center - 5 month update
Sounds like your experience has been pretty solid so far! I'm glad to hear Dr. Yilmaz made you feel comfortable. I had my FUE with Dr. Konior in Chicago about 6 months ago and can relate to the patchy growth at this stage. I think it really helps to stay patient and keep up with your meds like finasteride. It can be a tough wait but trust me, it gets better. Have you started using any topical treatments like minoxidil? I started that a few months post-op and felt like it really helped speed up my growth. Also, did they mention anything about PRP at your clinic? I’ve read good things about it for boosting results!

Is Dr. Rahal still the best for FUT in Ottawa?
In my experience, Dr. Rahal spends a lot of time during the initial consultation, which is really helpful. He took the time to review my hair loss pattern and discuss what to expect post-surgery. I went for 3200 grafts last year and paid around $5700. Recovery was pretty smooth for me; I was back to work in less than a week. One thing I found useful was using minoxidil post-op to help with the growth. As for results, I'm around 7 months in and starting to see some nice coverage in the crown area. I also had some PRP treatments that I think helped with the healing process. If you go with him, make sure to ask about all the aftercare options too, as they can make a difference in your results!

Review: My 2500 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 4 month update
Super interesting to hear everyone’s experiences! I’ve been looking into FUE procedures, and Dr. Feriduni has definitely caught my attention after seeing so many good reviews. One thing I’m curious about is the pain management aspect. You mentioned swelling and discomfort-but did you find any specific medications or treatments that really helped ease the recovery? Also, I’ve read about people getting PRP beforehand as a pre-treatment to boost health, did they mention anything about that at your consultation? As for aftercare, I've seen some clinics recommend completely avoiding any strenuous activities for a while. How strict were they with you on that? Just trying to get a full understanding before I take the leap myself!

Review: My 2500 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 6 month update
I appreciate you sharing your journey with Dr. Feriduni! His reputation definitely precedes him. You mentioned you were on minoxidil and finasteride before the procedure, which is always a good move for supporting hair growth. I'm curious, how long had you been using those meds before your transplant? Also, I'm still gathering info for my own journey and wondering if you've tried any other treatments, like PRP therapy, alongside your medications? I've heard that combining treatments can sometimes enhance the results. Oh, and how's the shedding phase been for you? I've read that it can vary a lot from person to person, and I’m trying to prepare myself for whatever happens!

Quick question about graft survival rates after FUE with Dr. Erdogan?
Congrats on booking with Dr. Erdogan! I had my 4000 graft FUE with him about a year ago and while I saw a 92% graft survival rate, I also learned that timing and patience are key. One thing I found helpful was keeping track of my progress in a notebook, so I could really see the changes over the months. I did experience shedding too, but I started using PRP treatments about 6 months post-op. It definitely seemed to boost the growth and helped with the recovery. Have you thought about PRP as part of your post-op plan? It’s gaining popularity for good reasons!

Has anyone had FUE with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid?
Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting a hair transplant and I've been hearing a lot about Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid. I’m currently a NW3 and considering around 3000 grafts with FUE. I’ve seen some of his results online and they look pretty great, but I would love to hear from anyone who has actually had the procedure done with him. What was your experience like? How was the clinic’s atmosphere? Also, if you could share how your recovery went and what medications you used post-op, that would really help me decide if I should go ahead with him or look elsewhere. Thanks!

Comparison: Dr. Lorenzo vs Dr. Bisanga for hairline work?
For what it's worth, I had a consultation with both doctors before making my decision. Dr. Lorenzo was very meticulous about the hairline design, and I felt he really understood what look I was going for. Dr. Bisanga, on the other hand, also seemed knowledgeable but had a slightly more laid-back approach which I appreciated. One thing I found interesting was that both have excellent follow-up care, but Dr. Bisanga's clinic offered a free PRP treatment a few months post-op. That kind of sold me on him as I think the PRP can really help with the healing process and overall results. By the way, if you’re leaning towards either doctor, I’d suggest asking them about their specific techniques for hairline work. I found out that Dr. Lorenzo uses a specialized technique for density that can yield really natural results, which might be something to consider! Good luck with your decision!

Comparison: Dr. Lorenzo vs Dr. Bisanga for hairline work?
Sounds like you've done your homework! I was in a similar boat a few months back and ended up choosing Dr. Lorenzo. I went with 3200 grafts for my NW4 hairline restoration. The clinic in Madrid was top-notch, and I felt very well cared for throughout the whole process. As for recovery, I noticed some swelling for about four days, but after that, I was pretty much back to my regular routine. My hair started to grow in nicely around the 4-month mark, but I've read that it can take up to a year for final results. I’ve been on finasteride for a while now, which I think has helped with overall density. Are you considering any medications post-op? Also, I've seen some impressive results from Dr. Bisanga patients, but it seems like Dr. Lorenzo's artistry with hairlines is really praised. Can't wait to see who you decide on!

Advice: NW5 diffuse thinning - should I go for FUT or FUE?
Choosing between FUT and FUE can definitely feel overwhelming, especially at NW5. I've had a different experience with my FUT procedure at Dr. Konior's clinic in Chicago. I opted for FUT because I was worried about graft survival too and wanted to maximize the number of grafts. They took around 4000 grafts from me and the results have been satisfying so far. I did have a bit of scarring, but it's pretty well hidden under my hair. As for cost, it was about $6000, which I found reasonable for the quality of work done. Have you thought about your future hair needs? If you anticipate needing more sessions down the line, FUE might be a better choice for flexibility. Just something to consider!

Review: My 2500 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 4 month update
Good to hear your experience has been positive! I had my FUE with Dr. Bisanga in Brussels, and although my graft count was a bit higher at 3000, I can relate to the excitement of seeing new growth. One thing I found really useful was keeping a detailed log of everything-like when I applied minoxidil or took my finasteride. It helped me track what was working and what wasn’t. I also recommend looking into scalp massages to stimulate blood flow; it’s said to help with growth too. Plus, have you thought about how you'll maintain your results long-term? I’m trying to figure out if I should keep using PRP treatments down the line. It’d be great to hear more about your plans!

My 3500 graft Sapphire FUE with Dr. Hasan in Ankara - 3 month update
Sounds like you're on a good path! I'm curious, did Dr. Hasan mention anything about the thickness of your hair after the transplant? I've heard varying opinions on how the Sapphire technique affects hair density, and I'm kind of torn on whether to go for it myself. I'm considering a procedure soon and looking at clinics in Turkey. Another question-wondering if you had any swelling or discomfort post-op? Some friends who’ve done FUEs had issues during their recovery, but I’m hoping for a smoother ride. Good luck with your results, I'm excited to hear how things progress for you!

Review: My 4000 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 5 month update
Thanks for sharing your journey! 5 months is a crucial time in seeing how things are progressing. I had my FUE with Dr. Lorenzo in Madrid and was super nervous about the initial results. It took a while for my new hair to come in evenly, and I found that taking PRP sessions afterward really helped stimulate growth. I also went through some phases of patchiness, but now looking back, it seems all those concerns were pretty standard. I’d be curious to hear about your experience with minoxidil. Did you stick to the routine consistently? I found that staying on top of my regimen helped me feel like I was contributing to my results. By the way, have you noticed any changes in your overall hair texture or health since starting the treatments? I think that aspect often gets overlooked.

My 3500 graft Sapphire FUE with Dr. Hasan in Ankara - 3 month update
Sounds like you're on the right track! I had a Sapphire FUE done with Dr. Mehmet Yilmaz in Ankara about 6 months ago and saw major improvements around the 4-5 month mark. The shedding phase can be rough, but just hang in there, it does get better! I didn't use finasteride, but I took PRP treatments, and I think they helped boost my hair growth significantly. As for your question on results, I’ve read that many patients notice even more density and coverage around the 9-12 month milestone. So don't get discouraged if you don’t see everything you want immediately. Have you thought about adding PRP to your routine? It's been a game-changer for some people I know!

Review: My 4000 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 5 month update
Awesome to hear you're seeing some growth after only 5 months! I think it's really interesting how different clinics approach the healing process. I had my FUE at ASMED Clinic in Istanbul with 4500 grafts last year, and I remember feeling the same anxiety about how things would turn out. One thing I noticed was that they emphasized PRP treatments post-surgery, which I think helped kickstart my growth. Have you considered any additional treatments like PRP to further support your results? It can be a bit of an investment but might be worth it if you're looking for that extra boost.

Review: My 4000 graft FUE with Dr. Feriduni - 5 month update
Thanks for sharing your journey! It's cool to see how everyone's experience can be so different. I had a transplant with the Istanbul Budget Hair Clinic about a year ago, and while I had a good outcome, the first few months were a bit of a rollercoaster for me, especially with the hair shedding. I was on a similar regimen of minoxidil and finasteride, and I noticed that I had a pretty good recovery by the three-month mark. So, it sounds like you're on track! Also, from what I’ve read and heard from others, it can take up to a full year to see the final results, so just be patient. Have you thought about whether you’ll continue with the medications long-term? I’ve heard mixed opinions on that.
